Elistair, a French leader in tethered unmanned aerial systems (UAS), has secured a €3 million contract to supply its Khronos small tethered drones to an allied military force. The agreement, made in collaboration with robotics specialist Milrem Robotics, includes the provision of drones, initial spare parts, training, and support.

The Khronos system is designed for integration with moving military vehicles, offering persistent aerial surveillance and real-time intelligence. Its automated operation and ability to function in GPS-denied environments make it particularly suited for reconnaissance and security missions.

Deliveries under the contract are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2025. Milrem Robotics will provide the military vehicles that will be equipped with Elistair’s advanced drone technology, enhancing situational awareness on the battlefield.

Elistair has established itself as a key provider of tethered drone solutions for armed forces, law enforcement, and security services in over 70 countries. Its technology is widely used for border surveillance, event security, and tactical communications.

With offices in France and North Carolina, Elistair continues to expand its presence in the global defence and security market. The latest contract reinforces its reputation as a trusted supplier of cutting-edge aerial reconnaissance solutions.
