MilDef has been awarded a contract worth 225 million SEK by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace for the delivery of ruggedised IT equipment. The deliveries are scheduled to commence in 2026 and will support Kongsberg’s increased digitalisation capabilities.

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace is Norway’s leading supplier of defence products and systems, including command and control, surveillance, space, tactical communications, remote weapon stations, and missile systems. “This is MilDefs single largest contract on the Norwegian market and we are honoured to be part of an important and cutting-edge defence system, manufactured in Norway,” said Daniel Ljunggren, President and CEO of MilDef. “This is testament of how Nordic defence companies cooperate and take responsibility for European armament,” he added.

The agreement marks a deepening of the collaboration between the two companies, reflecting strong confidence in MilDef’s product quality and technological capabilities. The new hardware will contribute to enhancing the robustness and performance of Kongsberg’s defence solutions.
