Draganfly sells Commander 3XL UAVs to leading global defence contractor

Draganfly Inc., a developer of drone solutions, has announced the sale of its Commander 3XL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems to a major international defence contractor. The purchasing firm, recognised for its expertise in persistent surveillance technologies, has been a long-standing partner to U.S. and allied military forces.

Draganfly Inc., a developer of drone solutions, has announced the sale of its Commander 3XL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems to a major international defence contractor. The purchasing firm, recognised for its expertise in persistent surveillance technologies, has been a long-standing partner to U.S. and allied military forces.

 

The Commander 3XL UAVs are designed with modular payloads, extended endurance, and AI-enabled mission control, making them suitable for advanced military surveillance operations. These systems will be used for perimeter security, early warning, and real-time situational awareness, integrating directly with existing persistent platforms and ground command centres.

The purchase highlights the Commander 3XL’s adaptability across both static and dynamic intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. It also strengthens the contractor’s ability to respond to changing threat environments with enhanced surveillance capacity.
