The Polish Ministry of National Defense has not issued an official confirmation regarding the incident, and rescuers remained at the crash site into the evening. Earlier that day, the team’s official page noted a familiarisation flight over Radom scheduled for 19:00.
The Radom Air Show, due to open on 30 August, is among Central Europe’s largest aviation events, drawing tens of thousands of visitors. This year’s programme features the Polish F-16 Tiger Demo alongside the UK’s Red Arrows, Greece’s “Zeus” F-16 Demo Team, and displays by the Eurofighter Typhoon and Dassault Rafale.
Poland’s F-16 Tiger Demo is the Air Force’s official display team and operates from the 31st Tactical Air Base at Poznań-Krzesiny. The base flies F-16C/D Block 52+ aircraft, with the Tiger Demo serving as its flagship aerial display unit.
