Quantum Systems and Destinus have announced a strategic partnership to integrate reconnaissance, engagement coordination and strike systems into a unified operational framework. The collaboration aims to connect reconnaissance assets, data exchange and scalable strike systems to support coordinated unmanned operations for European and allied forces.

The agreement brings together Quantum Systems’ reconnaissance platforms and MOSAIC UXS software suite with Destinus’ scalable strike systems. The resulting architecture is described as European-led, vendor-neutral and open, enabling interoperability across multiple systems and providers.

Under the partnership, MOSAIC UXS and reconnaissance systems will be integrated with Destinus’ platforms within a shared workflow. By linking real-time operational data with strike capabilities, the companies seek to enable faster cueing and engagement processes in complex operational environments.

Data collected by reconnaissance platforms will be processed and distributed via MOSAIC UXS, making it accessible to Destinus’ strike systems. The architecture is compatible with existing national and NATO command systems, while maintaining human command authority over all engagement decisions.

The companies state that the framework is built on an open, vendor-neutral approach, allowing defence organisations to integrate systems from different providers within a single environment. This approach is intended to provide flexibility in selecting technologies suited to specific operational requirements.

The partnership is positioned as a response to Europe’s increasing demand for improved coordination between reconnaissance and strike capabilities. It aims to address operational challenges by enhancing the speed and reliability of information flow and decision-making processes.

“Together, we are addressing a critical capability gap in Europe,” said Martin Karkour. “By combining our solutions with Destinus’ strike capabilities through MOSAIC UXS, we enable the connection of sensors and effectors even over long distances.”

“Europe needs a sensor-to-effect architecture that can be industrialized and scaled at pace,” said Wouter Van Beek. “This alliance connects reconnaissance data with strike systems while keeping decision authority where it belongs, within existing command frameworks.”
