TOLUN-IIR is a state-of-the-art 250 lb. glide munition combining INS/GNSS guidance with an advanced imaging infrared (IIR) seeker. With an extended range of 43 nautical miles, it is designed to strike high-value targets with exceptional accuracy while minimizing collateral damage. Its retarding canards and foldable, diamond-shaped wings enable extended glide and controlled terminal maneuvers, ideal for urban and strategic engagements.
What distinguishes TOLUN-IIR is its “man-in-the-loop” capability via a two-way datalink. This allows real-time transmission of seeker imagery to the pilot, enabling mid-flight target updates and aim-point selection for adaptive, precision strikes even in dynamic battlefields. The munition’s advanced fragmentation warhead features a proximity sensor and programmable fuse, offering flexible detonation control for a broad target spectrum.
Robust against electronic warfare, TOLUN-IIR incorporates a Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) to resist jamming and maintain uninterrupted guidance. Its compatibility with ASELSAN’s Smart Pneumatic Quad Rack enables simultaneous deployment of multiple munitions, optimizing strike efficiency.
TOLUN-S: long-range ground-launched precision strike
As a key element of Ground-Based Precision Strike Systems, TOLUN-S has been specifically developed to enable long-range, high-precision ground-to-ground engagements under all weather conditions, day or night. Originally designed as an air-to-ground munition, TOLUN-S’s enhanced ground-launched capability significantly broadens its operational versatility across diverse mission profiles.

Particularly effective in environments dominated by enemy air defence threats, TOLUN-S offers a full 360-degree engagement capability while eliminating risks to manned aircraft. After launch from the ground via GÖKTAN launcher system, the missile separates from its propulsion unit upon reaching optimal mission altitude and proceeds along pre-planned waypoints, ensuring precise target engagement at the desired impact angle.
Leveraging cutting-edge smart munition technology, TOLUN-S delivers exceptional targeting accuracy with minimal collateral damage. Its advanced penetration warhead is capable of defeating both armored and reinforced concrete targets up to one meter thick.
