In a major step reinforcing its position as a key player in the global defence supply chain, Astor Defence has signed a landmark agreement with BAE Systems for the supply of military-grade Trinitrotoluene (TNT), compliant with MIL-DTL-248D specification. The deal marks yet another strategic partnership for the British based defence supplier, further embedding its reputation as a trusted provider of critical energetic materials to top-tier defence organisations worldwide.

The long-term Supply Agreement will see Astor Defence deliver Mil spec TNT to BAE Systems to support large scale munitions programs, strengthening the UK’s and allied nations’ defence manufacturing capabilities at a time of heightened global demand.

Astor Defence has quickly emerged as a key partner in the International Energetic supply network, providing TNT, RDX, HMX, C4, and Nitrocellulose to various Defence agencies and commercial users across the globe.

Henry Turnbull, CEO of Astor Defence, commented on the deal: “We’re proud to support BAE Systems in delivering solutions to Allied Forces. This agreement not only reflects our longstanding commitment to supplying defence grade Energetics at scale, but also demonstrates the growing trust placed in us by some of the world’s most respected Defence organisations.”

This announcement follows a string of successful partnerships between Astor Defence and prominent international Defence and Government institutions, including Nammo, Global Ordnance, the Uk Ministry of Defence as well as various European prime Defence contractors. With TNT and other energetic materials under increasing pressure globally due to constrained supply and geopolitical bottlenecks, Astor Defence’s access to strategic manufacturing pipelines has proven indispensable.

As global tensions rise and the demand for energetic materials intensifies, Astor Defence continues to position itself at the forefront of the sector, ready to meet the needs of both legacy partners and emerging allies across the globe.
