The Mesa, Arizona facility played a significant role, focusing on the AH-64 Apache programme. The plant delivered 16 new AH-64E helicopters and completed 34 remanufactured versions of earlier models. The production line in Mesa is expected to remain active at least through the mid-2030s, supported by a robust order book, including a request from Poland for 96 AH-64Es. However, the production contract for this specific deal has yet to be finalised.
In Philadelphia, Boeing delivered 13 CH-47F Chinook helicopters, comprising four newly built units and 10 upgraded from previous versions. Additionally, six MH-139A Grey Wolf helicopters were delivered, supporting both domestic and export requirements. These programmes are well-positioned to continue, supported by contracts with the US Department of Defense and international customers.
Boeing’s St. Louis facility contributed a mix of fixed-wing aircraft, delivering 14 F-15 Eagles, 11 F/A-18E/F Super Hornet Block III fighters, and two T-7A Red Hawk trainer jets. While the T-7A and Super Hornet deliveries were made exclusively to the US military, the F-15 programme supported both domestic and international customers. Deliveries included the F-15EX for the US Air Force and F-15QA variants for Qatar. The F-15 production line remains secure, with current US orders for 48 aircraft, 25 units destined for Israel, and potential agreements under discussion with Indonesia for 25 F-15IA jets.
In Washington state, Boeing delivered 10 KC-46A Pegasus aerial refuelling tankers and four P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft. These aircraft continue to play critical roles for the US military and allied forces worldwide.
