Boeing has released delivery data for its civil and military aircraft for the second quarter of the current year, showing a noticeable increase in military production. A total of 34 military aircraft were delivered in this period, bringing the yearly total to 60 units so far.

In the helicopter segment, the AH-64E Apache combat helicopter remained the company’s primary product, with 12 units delivered – two newly built and ten remanufactured from existing aircraft. Additionally, Boeing’s Philadelphia plant delivered five remanufactured CH-47F Chinooks and four MH-139A Grey Wolf multi-role helicopters.

Compared to the first quarter, deliveries of both the CH-47 and MH-139 models saw a marked increase. This reflects Boeing’s intensified production efforts and improved output in these lines.

The St. Louis facility handed over three F-15EX Eagle II fighters, all from the second production batch, alongside four F/A-18E/F Super Hornet Block III aircraft. Complementing the combat fleet, Boeing also delivered five KC-46A Pegasus aerial refuelling tankers and one P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft.

It is notable that the KC-46 deliveries in the second quarter marked the first for this aircraft type in the current year. These developments come as Boeing begins to recover from previously unspecified production delays.
