Combitech to support Swedish LSS Mark system

By Defence Industry Europe

Saab has entered into a ten-year framework agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV), with a total value of approximately EUR 103 million (1.2 billion SEK). The majority of the contract will be executed by Saab's subsidiary, Combitech. The framework agreement encompasses services and technical support for the Swedish Army's digital infrastructure for the Command Support System Mark (LSS Mark), according to press releases from Combitech and FMV.

LSS Mark serves as the Swedish Army’s tactical command support system and is set to be deployed across thousands of different platforms. FMV is responsible for the development, procurement, updates, and installation of LSS Mark in various defence vehicles and headquarters. Therefore, FMV has decided to bring in an external supplier to support this effort. The work will be managed, led, and delivered from multiple locations in Sweden by Combitech. The contract spans over ten years and is valued at approximately 1.2 billion SEK.

“Our part of the delivery to LSS Mark will continue to strengthen the Swedish Army’s command capabilities for many years to come. This will generate many job opportunities and possibilities for both existing and new employees throughout the country to contribute to this important work of building societal resilience,” said Mikael Krusenberg, Head of Combitech’s Security Solutions division, in Combitech’s press release.
