The Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting and Exposition runs October 12–14 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. CSG’s display will bring together military vehicles, ammunition and aviation propulsion systems, supported by companies representing the group in the U.S. market.
“Heavy-duty Tatra Force tactical and logistics vehicles will form the centerpiece of CSG group’s exhibition at AUSA 2026,” said Ben Hudson, CSG vice chairman, CEO of CSG Land Systems and the group’s chief technology officer. “These vehicles represent the mainstay of Tatra’s military vehicle production.”
“Tatra vehicles are supplied to the armed forces of numerous NATO member states, as well as allied countries outside the Alliance around the world,” Hudson said. “The Tatra platform could also represent one of the options for the U.S. Army’s Common Tactical Truck program, which is why we want to showcase these vehicles at AUSA.”
CSG will exhibit a Tatra Force 8×8 military tractor designed to tow semitrailers carrying main battle tanks, armored personnel carriers and other heavy vehicles. It has a gross combination weight of up to 110 metric tons and a payload of up to 70 metric tons.
The tractor is designed for demanding terrain, extreme temperatures, high humidity and heavy dust. Its chassis accommodates interchangeable armored and unarmored cabins in two-door or four-door configurations.
The vehicle uses Tatra’s central backbone tube chassis, independently suspended swinging half-axles and all-wheel drive. A liquid-cooled, 14.9-liter Cummins X15 engine produces up to 447 kW and is paired with a seven-speed fully automatic Allison transmission.
An automatic central tire inflation system is also fitted to the tractor. The second truck will be a Tatra Force 8×8 equipped with a hooklift system for handling containers and interchangeable flatrack platforms.
The hooklift vehicle can handle loads of up to 16.5 metric tons and has a gross vehicle weight of up to 40 metric tons. Its chassis uses the same Tatra design, with all wheels driven and the first two axles steerable.
Engine options include air-cooled Tatra V8 and V12 units or liquid-cooled Cummins engines. Transmission choices are a Tatra F-shift electronically controlled manual system or a fully automatic Allison transmission.
CSG Land Systems North America represents Tatra Trucks, Tatra Defence and Excalibur Army in the United States. It provides direct commercial and industrial representation and offers their products, technologies and solutions to U.S. customers.
MSM North America’s presentation will focus on ammunition and the infrastructure needed to manufacture it in the United States. Its portfolio includes medium- and large-caliber ammunition, along with the design, modernization and commissioning of production facilities.
“The U.S. Army recently awarded our company MSM North America a $635 million contract to design, build, and commission the Future Artillery Complex at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant,” said Jason Gaines, CEO of MSM North America. “The project is intended to establish modern production capacity for 155 mm ammunition and strengthen the U.S. Army’s industrial base.”
“At AUSA, MSM North America will showcase these capabilities and engage with representatives of the U.S. Army and government agencies on production capacity and ensuring the long-term self-sufficiency of the U.S. armed forces in ammunition,” Gaines said. The company represents products from CSG’s Medium & Large Calibre Ammunition subdivision, primarily those of MSM Group companies ZVS, VOP Nováky, Fábrica de Municiones Granada and ZVI.
The Kinetic Group will discuss opportunities to expand U.S. small-caliber ammunition production, emerging ammunition trends and evolving defense and security requirements. Part of CSG Ammo+, the company includes the Federal, Remington, CCI, Speer and Hevi-Shot brands.
CSE USA will present turbojet, turbofan and turboshaft engines, auxiliary power units and specialized propulsion systems for military and aviation applications. These products are manufactured within CSG’s Advanced Systems subdivision, including by AviaNera Technologies.
CSE USA also represents CSG and its companies in the United States, supporting engagement with the Army, government agencies, other institutions and business partners. The group’s AUSA exhibition will showcase products and services from its CSG Defence Systems and CSG Ammo+ divisions.
