The framework agreement covers the supply of UDS engineering systems. The company said the deal is an important milestone for CSM Industry and for the Slovak defence industry.
The agreement was signed under the SAFE, or Security Action for Europe, programme. Through the SAFE mechanism, other EU Member States may join the framework agreement.
CSM Industry said this could create new opportunities for broader European cooperation and procurement. The arrangement may also support wider use of Slovak-made engineering systems across Europe.
For more than five decades, CSM Industry has developed and manufactured specialised engineering systems. These systems are designed to support military mobility, infrastructure development, disaster response and civil protection operations.
The company said UDS systems are currently in service with several NATO member states. It also said the systems continue to demonstrate their value in both military and civilian applications.
CSM Industry said the agreement reinforces its commitment to innovation and European industrial cooperation. The company also linked the deal to the development of advanced engineering capabilities for modern armed forces.
