Czechoslovak Group and Tatra to present new armoured vehicles and weapon systems at NATO Days

By Defence Industry Europe

The 25th NATO Days and 16th Czech Air Force Days will once again feature Czechoslovak Group (CSG) and the Kopřivnice-based automaker Tatra among their main partners. The exhibition will showcase the latest armoured vehicles, military trucks and weapon systems produced by Tatra Defence, Excalibur Army, Retia, Eldis and MSM Group.

Last year’s event was cancelled due to severe flooding in Northern Moravia, causing economic losses for the Moravian-Silesian Region and the Jagello 2000 association. CSG decided to provide full financial support to the organiser to bridge this period and to ensure the future of NATO Days and other projects.

Among the highlights this year will be Tatra Defence’s new Pandur 8×8 EVO wheeled infantry fighting vehicle, produced and integrated entirely in the Czech Republic. Also debuting is the TADEAS 6×6 MEV armoured medical evacuation vehicle, designed for military use but adaptable for rescue services, firefighters and police.

Tatra will display a wide range of its vehicles at Mošnov airport, including the Tatra Force and Tatra Phoenix model ranges. The RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher, developed by Excalibur Army on a Tatra chassis, will also be exhibited, offering fire support with modern control and targeting systems.

MSM Group will present NATO-standard artillery and tank ammunition through its companies in Slovakia, Spain and the Czech Republic. Exhibits will include 155 mm shells, mortar rounds, and new 30×173 mm medium-calibre ammunition designed for infantry fighting vehicles and weapon stations.

Retia will showcase its ReCUBE GBAD mobile command and control system for ground-based air defence, mounted on a Tatra vehicle. Eldis Pardubice will present new radar systems, including the RL-3000 long-range 3D radar and the PAR-NG precision approach radar for both civil and military airports.

Alongside CSG, the venture capital fund Presto Tech Horizon will participate, with CSG as both an investor and an active partner. The fund focuses on companies developing dual-use technologies applicable to both civilian and security needs.
