Digital Concepts Engineering introduces X3 Unmanned Ground Vehicle

By Defence Industry Europe

Digital Concepts Engineering (DCE) has unveiled the X3, the latest evolution in its line of unmanned ground vehicles. Building upon the success of the X2 model, the X3 features a reconfigurable top deck, catering to the needs of industries like defence, nuclear, and agriculture.

The X3 offers cost-effective mobility, supporting various mission systems including Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) payloads, decoying operations, and tactical Public Address (PA) systems. Its adaptability is enhanced by compatibility with self-mounting systems such as a bulldozer blade, expanding its utility across different environments.

Equipped with a low-latency control system, the X3 can navigate challenging terrain, carry payloads up to 250kg, and tow weights of up to 3 tonnes. Whether tele-operated or autonomous, its standby mode allows for extended dormancy periods, enabling deployment in remote areas for rapid response scenarios.

DCE emphasizes the X3’s versatility and tailorability to specific operational requirements, making it a promising addition to unmanned ground vehicle technology.
