FNSS, a Turkish defence company, has provided updates on the development of the Shadow Rider unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), which is based on the M113 transporter. Recent tests conducted during international exercises have allowed for the implementation of various improvements, marking a step towards achieving technical maturity for the vehicle, the company said.

FNSS, a Turkish defence company, has provided updates on the development of the Shadow Rider unmanned ground vehicle (UGV).

In the last days of June, a new unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), the Gereon Robotic Carrier System (Gereon RCS), was presented for the first time in Estonia. The disclosure of the vehicle to the public also became an opportunity to demonstrate its potential and capabilities during the tests of autonomous ground systems, in which 10 other UGVs took part.
