The contract will be performed over a period of six years and includes custom design, production, lifecycle maintenance, and complete in-country support, Elbit said.
Elbit did not specify the customer. The company only said that the contract was signed with a “European customer”.
However, as Defence Industry Europe reported, on February 19, the Austrian Ministry of Defence signed a contract with General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) for 225 Pandur EVO 6×6 armoured vehicles.
