ELTA North America wins contract to supply airborne HF/UHF stand-off jammers for U.S. Navy fighter aircraft

ELTA North America has been awarded an $11 million contract to design, develop and produce advanced airborne HF/UHF stand-off jammers for fighter aircraft. The Maryland-headquartered company said the award supports its efforts to deliver electronic warfare capabilities to the US defence community.

ELTA North America has been awarded an $11 million contract to design, develop and produce advanced airborne HF/UHF stand-off jammers for fighter aircraft. The Maryland-headquartered company said the award supports its efforts to deliver electronic warfare capabilities to the US defence community.

 

Under the contract, ELTA North America will deliver a first-of-its-kind HF/UHF stand-off jammer system for integration into the US Navy’s Stand-off Jammer Jets programme. The systems are designed to disrupt adversary communications while improving aircraft survivability in contested electromagnetic environments.
