EODH establishes subsidiary to enhance capabilities in the land systems domain

By Defence Industry Europe

Greek defence company EODH SA has announced the creation of EODH DYNAMICS, a wholly owned subsidiary specialising in the land defence sector. The new company aims to leverage EODH's extensive experience to design, develop, and manufacture land vehicles and systems while also providing mid-life upgrades and modernisation for Greek and allied armed forces.

EODH DYNAMICS is positioned to play a crucial role within the evolving European defence landscape. Through strategic partnerships, synergies, and agreements with key players in the land defence industry at local, European, and international levels, the company aims to enhance its operational capabilities.

The newly established production facilities cover an area of 10,000 square metres, equipped with cutting-edge machinery, including artificial intelligence and robotic technologies. The project, awarded to Preconstructa SA on a “turn-key” contract, is set for completion within one year, with procurement of advanced equipment already underway.

The production facility is designed according to international standards, featuring heavy-duty industrial floors, high-capacity overhead cranes, and dedicated areas for cutting, welding, machining, vehicle assembly, painting, and testing. It will also include production lines for turrets, remote weapon stations (RWS), and integration of fire control systems (FCS), electronic, and electro-optical units.

EODH SA has recently expanded its operations by acquiring and renovating a neighbouring factory, significantly boosting its production capacity. The company has also invested in state-of-the-art equipment, such as CNC and 5-axis machines, further strengthening its manufacturing capabilities.

EODH has built a reputation as a leader in innovative protective technologies and survivability solutions for high-end defence platforms worldwide. Over the past 20 years, the company has consistently addressed complex defence challenges with creative engineering and market-driven solutions, ensuring the delivery of future-focused vehicles and advanced upgrade packages.

The company’s continuous research and development efforts focus on enhancing protection levels, signature management, and mobility while maintaining the highest quality standards. EODH’s expertise has positioned it as a preferred partner in key European defence programs, including the Leopard 2A8, Leopard 2A7, BOXER, and PUMA projects.

A recent milestone for EODH is the ASPIS (Advanced Shielding Platform Integrated System) agreement, which secures advanced protection solutions for both current and future Leopard family vehicles and the next-generation Main Battle Tank (MBT). This agreement highlights EODH’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge defence solutions for modern threats.
