Electro Optic Systems (EOS) said it has secured two new U.S. contracts worth a combined $12 million for remote weapon systems while continuing discussions on a conditional laser weapons agreement in South Korea. The company provided the update as part of its latest operational briefing.

EOS Defense Systems USA was awarded a $5 million contract to develop and deliver Remote Weapon Systems for the U.S. Army. The work forms part of an ongoing development program, with manufacturing to take place in Huntsville, Alabama.

The company said the systems will deliver enhanced capabilities tailored to U.S. Army operational requirements. Deliveries under this contract are expected during 2026 and are intended to inform future production programs.

In a separate agreement, EOS received a $7 million contract to produce Slinger Remote Weapon Systems for Northrop Grumman’s Agnostic Gun Truck. The systems are designed for counter-drone applications and reflect ongoing collaboration between the companies.

EOS said the follow-on order is driven by evolving market demand and prior production work on the platform. Deliveries for this contract are also scheduled for 2026.

The company also provided an update on a conditional $80 million contract to supply a 100kW High Energy Laser weapon. Discussions with the counterparty, Goldrone, continued through February and March 2026.

The contract remains subject to several conditions, including payment of an $18 million deposit, issuance of a letter of credit, and customer approval of EOS’s Singapore facility. EOS said the parties have developed a shared action plan aimed at converting the agreement into an unconditional contract.

The discussions also included the possibility of manufacturing the first unit in South Korea instead of Singapore. EOS said it believes the contract could become unconditional in the second quarter of 2026, although it cautioned that there is no certainty this will occur.

The updates highlight EOS’s ongoing engagement in both U.S. defense programs and international directed-energy projects. The company said these efforts reflect continued demand for advanced weapon systems across multiple markets.
