Unveiled at the Sea-Air-Space Conference in Maryland, Bullseye is designed as a long-range, modular, and scalable strike missile capable of engaging diverse targets. It promises to offer high performance at reduced per-unit costs through collaborative development and production.
“We are excited to work with Rafael to introduce Bullseye, a highly effective deep-strike missile,” said Scott Forney, President of GA-EMS. “By leveraging Rafael’s extensive investment in the design, maturation and testing of a unique, modular missile, we can reduce risk and development costs and provide production-scale delivery of a highly capable, high-performance precision-guided missile.”
The missile’s design is currently at Technology Readiness Level 8, with Rafael having completed key component testing, including aerodynamics, engine, and seeker systems. Further flight qualification tests are scheduled ahead of initial deliveries expected from late 2025.
Yuval Miller, Executive Vice President at Rafael, stated: “By combining Rafael’s combat-proven innovative 5th Generation missile technologies with GA-EMS’s advanced manufacturing, assembly, integration and test expertise, Bullseye will deliver unprecedented accuracy, flexibility and affordability.” He added that the partnership aims to deliver a next-generation missile system adaptable to evolving battlefield needs.
The Bullseye missile will be assembled at GA-EMS’s centre of excellence in Tupelo, Mississippi, a site recognised for its capabilities in producing complex defence systems. The collaboration aims to enhance the U.S. precision-strike arsenal while strengthening industrial ties between American and Israeli defence sectors.
