Hanwha Ocean will propose its KSS-III Batch-II submarine for Poland’s Orka programme, a 3,000-ton platform in service with the Republic of Korea Navy. The offer includes technology transfer, use of Polish shipyards, and additional maritime solutions such as a 2,000-ton Offshore Patrol Vessel and a 500-ton unmanned mine warfare vessel for Baltic operations.
Hanwha Aerospace will present the K9A2 Self-Propelled Howitzer with a fully automated loading system and a Next-Generation Infantry Fighting Vehicle. These systems build on earlier deliveries of K9 howitzers and Homar-K rocket launchers and include plans for expanded industrial cooperation through a joint venture with Poland’s WB Group.
Hanwha Systems will display enabling technologies for networked operations, including a small Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite for all-weather surveillance and an Active Protection System to defend vehicles against anti-tank threats. Both solutions are offered with technology transfer and integration with Polish platforms.
“We are honored to join MSPO 2025, not just as a supplier but as a proven and reliable partner committed to the future of Poland’s defense industry,” said Mr. Son Jae-il, President and CEO of Hanwha Aerospace. “Having earned Poland’s trust by delivering on our promises, we are now building a deeper, more resilient partnership through extensive industrial cooperation that will reinforce Poland’s long-term security and defence ecosystem.”
Hanwha underlined that the integrated showcase by Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha Ocean and Hanwha Systems is designed to support Poland’s defence sovereignty. The company’s booth will be located at Booth A14, Hall 1.
