The award covers the Surveillance, Tracking, Intelligence, Network Services, Global Reconnaissance, Analysis, and Interceptions program, known as STRINGRAI. HII’s Mission Technologies division will lead an integrated team supporting SOUTHCOM and partner nations.
The team will provide intelligence-gathering capabilities, advanced technologies and adaptable all-domain platforms. HII said the work is intended to improve operational readiness and strengthen integrated intelligence and reconnaissance across the region.

STRINGRAI will support SOUTHCOM operations against transnational criminal organizations, drug cartels and drug trafficking organizations. The program is also intended to give commanders greater flexibility to respond to emerging threats and changes in regional security conditions.
HII said the capabilities will support U.S. homeland defense and broader national interests. The work will provide SOUTHCOM with additional surveillance, intelligence and reconnaissance capacity across its area of responsibility.
The task order was awarded under the General Services Administration’s ASTRO Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract. It includes a one-year base period and six option years.
