Intracom Defense (IDE) has announced the award of new contracts worth more than $108 million from Raytheon, an RTX business, during the past year for the Patriot air and missile defence system. The contracts confirm IDE’s position as a strategic industrial partner within Raytheon’s global supply chain.

According to the company, IDE is responsible for delivering key end items that support the Patriot system’s operational readiness, availability and long-term sustainment worldwide. The awards reflect Raytheon’s continued support for IDE’s performance and its role in meeting programme requirements.

IDE stated that the increased contract value recognises its consistent performance and sustained commitment to quality, reliability and responsiveness. The company also highlighted its proven ability to support higher capacity and increased production rate requirements.

As a Greek defence company with international reach, IDE said it leverages advanced engineering capabilities and modern manufacturing infrastructure to support both national defence programmes and major international initiatives. Through ongoing investment in industrial facilities, production equipment and specialised Greek technical and engineering personnel, the company aims to strengthen national industrial capabilities while addressing rising global production demand.

IDE described itself as a trusted supplier to leading international defence organisations. The newly awarded contracts further reinforce its integration within Raytheon’s supply chain for the Patriot air and missile defence system.
