Israel’s Ministry of Defense is leading a 15-company delegation to ILA Berlin 2026, one of the world’s largest aerospace and defence exhibitions. The Israeli National Pavilion opened under the leadership of the International Defense Cooperation Directorate, known as SIBAT, with the heads of Israel’s defence industries in attendance.

Israel’s participation comes after Israeli defence exports surpassed $19 billion in 2025. The ministry said the record year was driven in part by the expansion of the Arrow 3 deal with Germany.

The exhibition is being used as a platform to advance and deepen strategic partnerships. The ministry said this includes cooperation with Germany and with other friendly nations across Europe.

ILA Berlin is held every two years at Berlin ExpoCenter Airport. It serves as a central venue for the international aviation, space and defence industries.

The Israeli delegation is presenting advanced defence technology capabilities across several operationally proven domains. These include aerospace and space systems, air defence, unmanned platforms, counter-UAS solutions, radar, electronic warfare, AI-driven command and control, situational awareness and advanced homeland security.

“We arrived at ILA Berlin with the tailwind of an all-time record in Israeli defense exports, as Israeli technology is seeing growing global demand,” said Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas, Director of SIBAT. “Israel’s participation in the exhibition reflects the Ministry’s strategy to deepen defense and strategic cooperation with Germany, and the significant potential for expanding business partnerships with German industry and additional European nations.”

Israel’s Ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, said the country’s presence at ILA highlighted its contribution to German and European security. He said the technologies being displayed were relevant as Israel, Germany and Europe face shared security challenges.

“Israel’s presence at ILA today, and the cutting-edge Israeli technologies on display, offer the most concrete demonstration of Israel’s contribution to German and European security,” Prosor said. “This is true at any time – and especially now, as Israel, Germany, and Europe face shared security challenges, including the infiltration of Iranian-origin technologies into the European arena and shared threats in the fight against terrorism.”

“The close strategic relationship between our two countries, including in the defense sector, holds enormous potential for future cooperation in additional areas, including joint technological development and production,” Prosor said. The ministry said the pavilion reflects wider efforts to expand defence cooperation with European partners.

The participating companies are Aeromaoz, ASIO Technologies, Axon Vision, BIRD Aerosystems, Creomagic, Elbit Systems, eyesAtop, IAI, Magam Safety, Maris-Tech, Orbit Communication Systems, Rafael, RSL Electronics, TSG and Uvision. Together, they are presenting technologies intended to support operational requirements across defence, aerospace and security missions.
