In a statement, Kraken underscored the facility’s scalability and operational readiness. “No smoke, no mirrors, only high-performance, low-cost, production ready capabilities at scale — today,” the company said.
The firm’s core offerings include the K3SCOUT, an affordable, low-signature autonomous surface vessel, and the K4 MANTA, a more advanced hybrid platform capable of both surface and limited subsurface operations. These systems are designed for a variety of commercial, humanitarian, and military missions.
The K3SCOUT has been optimised for agility and discretion in complex environments, making it suitable for maritime surveillance, perimeter defence, and logistics roles. Its compact form and quiet propulsion system enhance its performance in contested coastal zones.
The K4 MANTA represents a significant leap in uncrewed naval capabilities, combining high surface speed with submerged manoeuvrability. Kraken describes the vehicle as a “foiling uncrewed surface-subsurface vehicle”, capable of carrying out ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance), precision strike, and special missions with reduced visibility.
Kraken’s expansion of its production capabilities comes amid rising global interest in uncrewed maritime technologies. While specific customers have not been disclosed, the company has indicated that both commercial and defence contracts are already in progress.
