Saab has received an order from the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence for RBS 70 Bolide missiles valued at SEK 3 billion. Deliveries are scheduled to take place between 2028 and 2032.

The order is placed under a framework agreement for Saab’s short-range air defence missile system RBS 70 NG. The agreement involves Saab, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration and the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence.

“With this order, we continue our commitment to supporting the Lithuanian Armed Forces’ with our world-leading RBS 70 missiles. These form a key part of the nation’s air defence capability and contribute to keeping Lithuania’s airspace safe,” said Görgen Johansson, Head of Saab’s business area Dynamics.

Lithuania has used Saab’s RBS 70 short-range air defence solution since 2004. The RBS 70 NG is also part of Lithuania’s vehicle-integrated mobile air defence system, which provides protection for moving military units.
