The new facility, designed specifically to meet the needs of MilDef’s current and future operations, is expected to be ready by next autumn. Daniel Ljunggren, President and CEO of MilDef, called the project a “springboard for continued acceleration on our growth journey and without a doubt a new milestone for MilDef.”
Carl Runemar, Managing Director for Sweden and Finland, highlighted the facility’s potential, noting that “with a quadrupled production area, we have the opportunity to take on larger and more advanced assignments in Sweden.” The new space will be tailored to meet the demands of MilDef’s evolving operations, supporting the company’s ambition to further its impact within the defence industry.
The Rosersberg location was strategically chosen for its accessibility by highway, air, and public transport, making it convenient for both employees and partners. MilDef has partnered with real estate developer LEJE Fastigheter AB and its representative, Markus Frisk, for the construction of this purpose-built facility.
