MilDef breaks ground on new production and office facility in Rosersberg, Sweden

Swedish defence technology company MilDef marked a major milestone on 29 October as CEO Daniel Ljunggren commenced construction on a new 6,000-square-metre office and production facility in Rosersberg, Sweden. The new development is set to significantly expand MilDef's capacity, quadrupling its integration services and enabling the company to undertake larger and more complex assignments.

 

The new facility, designed specifically to meet the needs of MilDef’s current and future operations, is expected to be ready by next autumn. Daniel Ljunggren, President and CEO of MilDef, called the project a “springboard for continued acceleration on our growth journey and without a doubt a new milestone for MilDef.”

Carl Runemar, Managing Director for Sweden and Finland, highlighted the facility’s potential, noting that “with a quadrupled production area, we have the opportunity to take on larger and more advanced assignments in Sweden.” The new space will be tailored to meet the demands of MilDef’s evolving operations, supporting the company’s ambition to further its impact within the defence industry.

The Rosersberg location was strategically chosen for its accessibility by highway, air, and public transport, making it convenient for both employees and partners. MilDef has partnered with real estate developer LEJE Fastigheter AB and its representative, Markus Frisk, for the construction of this purpose-built facility.
