The Moldovan National Army has received the final batch of used IIIH wheeled armored personnel carriers promised by Germany. This completes the set of 19 such vehicles for Chisinau, delivered under the Moldovan-German agreement from October 2021.

The ceremony for the receipt of the last 11 vehicles was attended by Moldova’s Defence Minister Anatolie Nosatîi, German Ambassador to Moldova Margret Uebber, the leadership of the National Army, military attachés delegated to the country, and representatives from the manufacturer – General Dynamics European Land Systems – responsible for the transportation of the vehicles.

These carriers are part of the modernization of the Moldovan armed forces and successful cooperation with Berlin. They are currently used for training soldiers of the 22nd ‘Blue Helmet’ Battalion under the army, designated for participation in foreign operations.
