Saab has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the PGZ Group, Poland’s largest defence company, during the MSPO international defence industry exhibition in Kielce. The agreement confirms the interest of both companies in working together on defence solutions for multi-domain operations.

The MoU also includes exploring potential cooperation with the Ukrainian industry and evaluating initiatives to support Ukraine. The aim is to strengthen industrial ties and contribute to European and regional security.

“We are pleased to have signed this agreement today, and look forward to cooperating with the PGZ Group. This is another important milestone in strengthening the collaboration between the Polish and Swedish defence industries. There is great potential for expanding the existing partnership between our nations to ensure security and stability in Europe, including the Baltic Sea region,” says Micael Johansson, President and CEO of Saab.

Future cooperation may cover projects across air, land and naval domains, with the objective of modernising the Polish Armed Forces. Saab stated that the agreement could lay the foundation for a strategic partnership with PGZ.
