Netherlands Ministry of Defence places $25–30 million order with Oshkosh Defense for additional DXPV vehicles

Oshkosh Defense announced that the Netherlands Ministry of Defence has ordered additional Dutch Expeditionary Patrol Vehicles (DXPV), with the contract valued between $25 million and $30 million. The vehicles, also known as the Kaaiman, will be equipped for future integration as part of the country’s ongoing defence vehicle modernisation.

Oshkosh Defense announced that the Netherlands Ministry of Defence has ordered additional Dutch Expeditionary Patrol Vehicles (DXPV), with the contract valued between $25 million and $30 million. The vehicles, also known as the Kaaiman, will be equipped for future integration as part of the country’s ongoing defence vehicle modernisation.

 

According to the company, the Netherlands continues to focus on interoperability with allies, using Oshkosh’s open systems approach to integrate emerging technologies and mission systems. This design allows the DXPV platform to support a wide range of missions while enabling the Ministry of Defence to align its modernisation priorities efficiently.

As part of the order, Oshkosh will also deliver two DXPV training kits to support readiness initiatives for Dutch soldiers. The company said the kits will allow training to begin immediately, supporting a seamless transition and sustained operational capability.

Oshkosh Defense Europe B.V. and Oshkosh Defense, LLC, a business of Oshkosh Corporation, stated that the announcement underlines their commitment to providing mission-built vehicles and lifecycle support services. These efforts are intended to enhance mobility, protection and operational effectiveness for allied armed forces worldwide.
