NSPA awards framework contracts to four companies for nano uncrewed aerial systems to enhance ISR capabilities

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) has awarded framework contracts to four companies for the supply and support of nano category uncrewed aerial systems (UAS). The agreements enable NATO Allies and partners to access advanced systems and lifecycle support through the Uncrewed Aerial Systems Support Partnership.

 

Covering UAS under 2.5 kg, the contracts will enhance intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities for modern operations. The framework provides nations with streamlined acquisition, economies of scale, faster delivery timelines and full in-service support.

The companies awarded are Teal Drones, Etra Air, Skydio with COBBS BELUX BV, and Aurea Avionics. Each brings unique technologies ranging from autonomous platforms and modular payloads to dual-use intelligence and surveillance systems.

 

 

These framework contracts strengthen NATO’s capacity to ensure nations have timely access to emerging technologies. Through multinational acquisition, NSPA guarantees the efficient, effective and responsive delivery of advanced solutions to NATO and partner nations.
