The aft fuselage, completed in August 2023 and subsequently shipped to Greenville, underwent a critical process known as “mating.” This involves precise alignment and secure attachment of the rear section of the F-16 to its main fuselage, a step essential for maintaining the aircraft’s structural integrity and operational performance. The successful completion of this stage allows the F-16 to proceed through the assembly line, culminating in comprehensive testing and final delivery to international clients.
“This milestone is a proud moment for the entire team at PZL Mielec,” said Janusz Zakręcki, President and General Director of PZL Mielec.
