The A-29N Super Tucano is an enhanced version of Embraer’s globally successful light attack and advanced trainer aircraft. It features advanced avionics, NATO-standard communications systems, and additional undisclosed capabilities to meet the specific requirements of Portugal’s defence forces. This milestone positions Portugal at the forefront of adopting a modern, multi-role platform that caters to NATO-aligned defence operations.

Designed for a range of missions, the A-29N is capable of Advanced Pilot Training, Close Air Support, Air Patrol, Reconnaissance, and Armed ISR.
