First Embraer C-390 Millennium transport aircraft arrives in Hungary

On April 12, the Hungarian Air Force took delivery of its first Embraer C-390 Millennium transport aircraft at the Kecskemét Air Base.

Embraer and the Brazilian Air Force announced the beginning of collaborative studies to identify potential platform adaptations for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance missions. The platforms to be used are already operational in the Brazilian Air Force, such as the C-390 Millennium.

Embraer and the Brazilian Air Force announced the beginning of collaborative studies to identify potential platform adaptations for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance missions.

The first C-390 Millennium of the Hungarian Air Force has successfully completed its maiden flight yesterday in Gavião Peixoto. Embraer Defense & Security team flew the aircraft for approximately 4 hours, carrying out a complete assessment of the aircraft, which will now undergo a test campaign ahead of the entry into service with the Hungarian Air Force.

The first C-390 Millennium of the Hungarian Air Force has successfully completed its maiden flight yesterday in Gavião Peixoto.

Patria has signed an agreement for the modification design and certification of a flight inspection system with Fintraffic Air Navigation Services Ltd. Patria delivers aircraft modification design and material kits that will be installed in two Finnish Aviation Academy (FINAA) owned Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 business jets. The delivery includes also EASA certification of the modification that is Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the aircraft type.

Patria has signed an agreement for the modification design and certification of a flight inspection system with Fintraffic Air Navigation Services Ltd.

Embraer will provide integrated logistical support services through the Follow On Support Agreement contract signed recently for the Hellenic Air Force fleet of one ERJ-135LR and four ERJ-145 AEW&C aircraft. The contract covers spare parts, repair, pool, maintenance, and technical services for the five Embraer jets currently in use by the Hellenic Air Force.

South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) has announced Embraer’s C-390 Millennium as the winner of the Large Transport Aircraft (LTA) II public tender.

Embraer has delivered to the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) its fifth EMB 145 AEW&C aircraft, upgraded and designated as E-99M in the FAB. The aircraft has been updated to perform Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) functions, as well as participate in intelligence, surveillance, and airborne reconnaissance missions.

Embraer has delivered to the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) its fifth EMB 145 AEW&C aircraft, upgraded and designated as E-99M in the FAB.

The Portuguese Air Force conducted a first force projection with their modern Embraer KC-390 transport aircraft on October 22, 2023. It transported military personnel and cargo to the Canary Island, Spain, in support of multinational Spanish-led exercise Ocean Sky 2023, where Portuguese F-16s participate in multinational drills.

The Portuguese Air Force conducted a first force projection with their modern Embraer KC-390 transport aircraft on October 22, 2023.

The first KC-390 Millennium of the Portuguese Air Force (FAP) has entered into service at the Beja Air Base. The aircraft meets the requirements set by the National Aeronautical Authority (AAN) of Portugal and includes standard NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) equipment already integrated into the aircraft. This integration results from an extensive flight tests campaign carried out in Portugal, in a joint effort between Embraer, OGMA, and FAP. In 2019, FAP ordered five KC-390 aircraft, a comprehensive services and support agreement and a flight simulator. The entry into service took place following a ceremony held Monday October 16, at the Embraer plant in Gavião Peixoto, Brazil.

The Ministry of Defence s of the Czech Republic announced the start of negotiations on potential acquisition of the new-generation multi-mission Embraer C-390 Millennium, a military transport aircraft. The decision to start negotiating towards possible purchase the C-390 was based on a market assessment and analysis prepared by Czech Republic’s Ministry of Defence, which identified the C-390 as the most suitable solution for meeting the requirements of the Army of the Czech Republic.
