The Southern California location will support defence and security partners across North and Latin America. By the end of 2025, Quantum Systems expects to employ over 100 professionals in Moorpark and the greater Ventura County area.
“This is more than a new building. It’s a launchpad for scaled innovation,” said Dave Sharpin, CEO of Quantum-Systems Inc.
“We’re investing in the future of defence technology with a facility built to meet the demand for affordable mass, AI-powered ISR, and accelerated fielding of next-generation systems,” he added. “We’re proud to grow our workforce in Southern California and to serve our customers with even greater speed and agility.”
The facility has been fully renovated to support the entire development lifecycle of the company’s products. It includes secure manufacturing lines, engineering laboratories, research and development areas, flight operations capabilities, and administrative offices.
This integrated setup enables Quantum Systems to streamline production and improve responsiveness to evolving mission needs. The facility will support the company’s Family of Systems, including Vector AI, Twister, and Reliant.
Quantum Systems operates globally, with active operations in Germany, Australia, Ukraine, Romania, and the United Kingdom. The new site consolidates all U.S. operations under one roof, replacing former locations in Moorpark.
The centralisation is designed to enhance cross-functional collaboration and improve efficiency in delivering autonomous, modular ISR solutions. The company views the new facility as a key element in scaling innovation and accelerating delivery for defence customers.
