Given the tense global security situation, various conflicts demonstrate the transformative significance of unmanned systems in modern warfare. While Ukraine successfully integrates unmanned systems on land, in the air, and on water into its armed forces, this development is only just beginning in Germany, Europe, and NATO.
ARX Robotics, Europe’s leading startup in the field of unmanned autonomous land systems, has thus joined forces with the European drone champion Quantum Systems and other partners to form an alliance for companies in the unmanned systems sector in all dimensions. The goal of the “UXS Alliance” is to pool European expertise and position itself as a joint player for securing NATO’s eastern flank and for security in Europe. Operating from Berlin under the motto “UXS Alliance: Leaders of the Unmanned Future,” the alliance offers other companies the opportunity to join.
Marc Wietfeld, CEO and founder of ARX Robotics, said: “Stronger Together. This is not only NATO’s motto, but it must also apply to the industry within the alliance. With the UXS Alliance, we want to send a signal that scalable and modular systems will be crucial for the success of all missions in the future.”
Florian Seibel, CEO and founder of Quantum Systems, added: “The future is unmanned. And with this alliance, we want to express our commitment to creating a strategic asset for Germany and Europe that strengthens our resilience and makes us a technological leader.”
