RENK Group awarded US Navy contract for test rig

RENK Systems Corporation (RSC), a subsidiary of RENK Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of mission-critical propulsion technologies for military land vehicles, announced a recent over USD 49 million contract award with the United States Navy. This firm-fixed-price contract was closed in conjunction with RENK America (RAM) and RENK Test System GmbH (RTS) and is for the design and installation of test stands and equipment related to the Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion Helicopter testing facility based at Cherry Point Naval Air Station in North Carolina.

 

This award marks a strategic win for RENK Systems Corp. in the efforts to support the US Navy with state-of-the-art test equipment that will assist in the depot operations at the Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE). This facility is a vital asset to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). Their commitment to excellence and wide range of services fortifies the functionality and performance of military assets and equipment, as well as the safety of service members who depend on that equipment.
