In a recent press release, the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology, and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) announced the procurement of twelve more Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH 2000) self-propelled howitzers. The corresponding option call from a framework contract was signed today by Annette Lehnigk-Emden, the President of the Procurement Office of the Bundeswehr.
