Rheinmetall to showcase advanced defence technologies at Enforce Tac 2025

By Defence Industry Europe

Rheinmetall will present its latest innovations in defence and security technology at Enforce Tac 2025, taking place from 24 to 26 February in Nuremberg. The company will unveil new products across its Vehicle Systems, Weapon and Ammunition, and Electronic Solutions divisions, aimed at enhancing military effectiveness and protection.

One of the key highlights is the Ermine tactical small vehicle family, which offers a new generation of mobility for military operations. Designed for versatility, it can be configured as an unmanned ground vehicle, a side-by-side buggy, or a quad, with the showcased model featuring special operations equipment and the ROSY smoke/obscurant system.

Also making its debut is the Mobile Mission Pod (MMP), developed for special operations forces to conduct reconnaissance and strike missions using small UAVs. Equipped with artificial intelligence and a high degree of automation, the MMP is designed for long-duration remote operations behind enemy lines.

Among Rheinmetall’s soldier systems, the company will present the Gladius Light, a variant of the Bundeswehr’s ‘Future Soldier – Expanded System’ (IdZ-ES). This system, tailored for special forces, includes a biomonitoring system and mission navigation belt for enhanced situational awareness.

Weaponry on display includes the Squad Support Weapon SSW40, the world’s first automatic, magazine-fed, shoulder-fired grenade launcher for 40mm ammunition. The company will also exhibit its laser/laser light modules, including the modular VTAL laser for special forces, as well as its tactical pyrotechnics, such as the 9-Bang stun grenade and Spectac device.

Rheinmetall’s protective solutions will feature prominently, including its ballistic body armour systems for various operational needs. The Rapid Obscuring System ROSY, designed to protect land, air, and sea vehicles, will be showcased on the Ermine reconnaissance vehicle.

Other highlights include the Softmount Multimount, a lightweight, recoil-reducing mount for machine guns and grenade launchers, and the Paramir signalling rocket, capable of deploying flares, infrared markers, and NBC signals.

For years, Rheinmetall has been a key partner to security forces in Germany and worldwide, providing advanced solutions in reconnaissance, protection, and combat effectiveness. At Enforce Tac 2025, the company will continue demonstrating its role as a leader in modern defence technologies.
