RTX’s Pratt & Whitney has named Amy Comer president of its Military Engines business, effective Jan. 1, 2027. She will succeed Jill Albertelli, who was recently appointed Pratt & Whitney president following Shane Eddy’s retirement at the end of the year.

Comer currently serves as vice president of Pratt & Whitney’s GTF engines. She brings more than 20 years of experience in engineering and program management leadership roles.

“Amy is a trusted leader with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of disciplined execution for our customers,” Eddy said. “I’m confident she will build on Jill’s significant efforts and ensure we continue to deliver the advanced propulsion capabilities the U.S. Services and our allies need for their important missions.”

Comer’s experience spans military and commercial product lines. Her responsibilities have included supporting engine development and sustainment.
