The VIGY 4 is a compact, stabilised, long-range panoramic observation and sighting system capable of detecting, identifying, and tracking threats. Its advanced features make it highly effective for operations in low-visibility conditions, including darkness and adverse weather such as fog, thanks to its SWIR (Short Wave InfraRed) channel. Additionally, the VIGY 4 system can guide small and medium-calibre weapons, adding a strategic advantage to the OPVs.
Complementing the VIGY 4, the Argonyx inertial navigation system is based on Safran’s patented HRG Crystal gyroscope technology. This system delivers essential navigation data and performs exceptionally well even in GNSS-denied environments, maintaining high performance and meeting strict stabilisation requirements for weapon systems.
