Around 120 vehicles have been delivered to date, and both customers have placed several additional orders since the original agreement. On 20 November, the parties updated the framework and approved about 300 further SISU GTP vehicles for the Finnish and Swedish forces.
Sisu Auto said it is also preparing to supply GTP products to a new European market as the fresh orders take effect. The company expects the expansion to strengthen its position among leading military vehicle manufacturers in Europe.
The total order book now stands at nearly 500 vehicles with a value of about EUR 400 million, and more than 95 percent of this consists of military products. A substantial share of these orders is intended for export.
“I am truly pleased with this new significant order. It demonstrates that our products are competitive and meet our customers’ performance requirements and operational needs. Sisu Auto’s export expansion into a new market is a key strategic milestone and clear proof that our growth plan is working,” says Tomi Gardemeister, CEO of Sisu Auto.
The SISU GTP product family includes eleven variants that range from troop transport and counter drone models to ambulances. The company says its future plans focus on international growth, development of its product range and stronger lifecycle support.
Forecast revenue for 2025 is about EUR 80 million with production slightly above 100 vehicles. For 2026, Sisu Auto targets output of more than 200 vehicles, which would lift turnover to above EUR 160 million.
