Slovakia already delivered four MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine

Slovak Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad announced that Slovak Republic has already delivered the first four MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine. “May they save many lives and help Ukraine defence its land and infrastructure against Putin’s aggression! Our support will continue as long as needed,” Jaroslav Nad wrote on social media.

On March 17, Slovakia and Ukraine have signed an intergovernmental agreement on the transfer of 13 MiG-29 fighters and two 2K212 Kub air defence system to Armed Forces of Ukraine.



At the end of last week, President of Poland Andrzej Duda also announced the decision to provide Ukraine with at least six MiG-29 jets from resources of the Polish Air Force.
