ST Engineering Antycip integrates MyIG with VR-Forces to enhance simulation training

By Defence Industry Europe

ST Engineering Antycip announced a major advancement in its simulation technology with the integration of its proprietary Image Generator, MyIG, and the VR-Forces platform from MAK Technologies. The development is described as a significant step towards delivering an end-to-end simulation ecosystem for training.

Developed entirely by Antycip’s Italian R&D team, MyIG is a low-latency and certifiable Image Generator designed for military and industrial simulation. Its integration with VR-Forces allows dynamic, synchronised communication between synthetic forces and high-performance visuals, enhancing training in applications such as flight and automotive simulators.

Riccardo Rovelli, VP of Innovation & Technology at Antycip, commented: “This integration represents a powerful evolution in our simulation offering. It reflects the deep technical expertise of our team and aligns with our commitment to building modular, interoperable and multidomain simulation platforms tailored to our clients’ needs.”

The system is aimed at high-end simulation contexts where advanced visuals, certified fidelity and domain-specific requirements go beyond the capabilities of standard solutions. MyIG incorporates its own architecture, development pipeline, model viewer, content manager and remote control, and supports widely used 3D formats including FBX, OBJ and FLT.

Its open and interoperable design allows real-time, low-latency communication with external simulation tools like VR-Forces, bridging CGF behaviour with high-fidelity visual representation in DIS, HLA and CIGI standards. MyIG has already been deployed in a refuelling simulation project and multiple flight simulators, both fixed- and rotary-wing.

Antycip stated it will continue to invest in simulation technologies that combine domain knowledge with advanced development, enabling customers to push the boundaries of synthetic training and visualisation.
