Roke awarded GBP 251 million contract to lead UK missile defence research programme

Roke, a subsidiary of Chemring Group PLC, has secured a major contract from the UK Ministry of Defence to lead a long-term missile defence programme.

Rheinmetall has booked a major order for 155mm artillery ammunition following a second call-off under an existing framework order with the German government. The latter has contracted with the Düsseldorf-based tech group to supply the Ukrainian armed forces with tens of thousands of L15 rounds as well as conventional 155mm Assegai shells for the German military. The order is worth a figure in the lower three-digit millioneuro range. Delivery is scheduled to take place in 2024, Rheinmetall said in a press release.y

Chemring, a leader in defence and security technologies, has announced the signing of a major framework agreement through its Norwegian subsidiary, Chemring Nobel.

Chemring announced that its UK subsidiary, Chemring Energetics UK, has received an order valued at £43m for the delivery of critical components used in the Next Generation Light Anti-Tank Weapon system (“NLAW”). This award follows the £229m contract that was placed on SAAB by the UK Ministry of Defence in December 2022.

Chemring Energetics UK has received an order valued at £43m for the delivery of critical components used in the Next Generation Light Anti-Tank Weapon system (“NLAW”).
