On September 21, the Danish Armed Forces announced the receipt of the last of 44 Leopard 2 tanks upgraded from the A5 to A7 standard. These modernization efforts were carried out at the facilities of the German heavy arms manufacturer Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW), a subsidiary of KNDS.
