Elbit Systems said it has secured contracts worth more than $100 million from the Directorate of Defense Research and Development within Israel’s Ministry of Defense to develop advanced digitisation capabilities for the Israel Defense Forces. The programmes will deliver the fifth generation of the IDF’s digitisation array, integrating technologies across command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, digital fire and border protection.

Elbit Systems has received a multi-year air munitions procurement order valued at approximately $183 million (NIS 570 million) from the Israel Ministry of Defense Defense Procurement Directorate. The agreement was signed by IMOD Director General Amir Baram and is intended to expand Israel’s defence industrial base while strengthening the Israeli Defense Forces’ capabilities in the near term and over the coming decade.
