Italy and Greece have signed a preliminary agreement for the transfer of two Italian Navy vessels to the Hellenic Navy, with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri acting as the industrial partner.
Fincantieri has delivered the multi-role frigate Emilio Bianchi to the Italian Navy, marking the completion of the tenth unit in the FREMM (European Multi-Mission Frigates) programme.
Orizzonte Sistemi Navali (OSN), the joint venture between Fincantieri (51%) and Leonardo (49%), has signed the TLSM2 in-service support contract with OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation).
