GDELS to deliver additional M3 amphibious bridge and ferry systems to Sweden

General Dynamics European Land Systems–Bridge Systems has received an order for a fourth batch of M3 amphibious bridge and ferry systems for the Swedish Armed Forces.

The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has secured a contract with General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) for nine M3 (Amfibiebro 400) floating bridge systems. This acquisition, part of a SEK 400 million (approximately EUR 35 million) agreement from 2022, promises to enhance the mobility of Sweden's ground forces by facilitating the crossing of lakes and large waterways.
