FN Herstal unveils new variant of FN MINIMI Mk3 light machine gun

The FN MINIMI light machine gun (LMG), designed by Belgium-based FN Herstal, is a global reference in its category.

On the order of the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments (ECDI), the first delivery of machine guns reached Estonia, with nearly two hundred new machine guns having arrived. In March of this year, the ECDI signed a contract with Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) for the procurement of around 1000 new Negev NG7 machine guns for the Defence Forces and the Defence League.

FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration) has signed a framework agreement with Equipnor AB (a part of NFM Group) for machine guns for the amphibious battalions. The system will initially arm the CB90-class (Stridsbåt 90) fast assault crafts but may also be relevant for other parts within the Armed Forces in the future.

FMV has signed a framework agreement with Equipnor AB (a part of NFM Group) for machine guns for the amphibious battalions.

On March 8 Magnus-Valdemar Saar, Director General of the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments (ECDI), signed a contract with Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) for the procurement of about 1,000 new Negev NG7 machine guns for the Defence Forces and the Defence League. The new weapons will replace the MG3 and KSP-58 machine guns currently in service.
